The lovely Argentinian film Hawaii by Marco Berger is released today (properly) so it’s now available to rent/buy/stream on Amazon and Itunes and elsewhere.
Hawaii is about Eugenio (Manuel Vignau) and Martín (Mateo Chiarino) who played together as children, and reunite when Martín finds himself down on his luck and in need of a job. Eugenio takes him in and the two rekindle their friendship, now with some added sexual tension (or UST - unresolved sexual tension as we like to call it. Or just pining, lots and lots of pining).
It’s a beautiful, poetic and very romantic and happy film. See it!
